Winter Workshop

A few weeks ago I decided it was time to move out of the big workshop and into the smaller one in my basement for the winter. I can work out in the barn in cooler temps, thanks to my heater, but it doesn’t really stay warm it just takes the edge of the cold. Plus, I only heat it when I’m out there, so I have to bring the paints and glue and other temperature sensitive items inside anyway.

I didn’t realize how much stuff I had out in the shop until I started lugging it into the house! It took me the better part of an afternoon to get it all downstairs and then another afternoon to get it put away and organized. Now that I’m done, it’s looking pretty good!

I’ve been putting it to good use too! I’ve been working on several projects for the holidays and in the coming weeks I’ll be sharing those with you. I kind of hit a creative dry spell for most of this year, so I’m really excited to be experiencing this burst of creative energy. Maybe the fresh work space is just what I needed. No matter the reason, It’s good to be back in the saddle.

Can’t wait to share my projects with you all!

Keep it creative.
